Job Description

1. Fundraising Team:

• Responsible for the fund application
• Research prospective donors
• Identify and contact potential donors
• Conduct fundraising strategies for an organization
• Organize a campaign or event that will lead to soliciting donations
• Create a strong fundraising message that appeals to potential donors
• Ensure that all legal reporting requirements are satisfied
• Assist with organizations of supplies and donations

2. Event planning and execution Team:

• Responsible for volunteers recruitment
• Assist in developing new events, and maintains, organizes and manages existing special events, such as New Year Celebration, Canada Day event, etc
• Responsible for communication and networking in support of new or special events
• Assist with development of new opportunities to build community awareness

• Provide feedback and periodic reports to stakeholders about the events

• Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality

3. Public Relations Team:

• Responsible for writing and editing the press releases, then sending press releases to the local media
• Providing donor, sponsor and volunteer letters
• Keep a good relationship with Local Chinese media
• Responsible for designing, writing and producing presentations, leaflets, publicity brochures, information for websites and promotional videos
• Maintain and update information on official website and social media

4. Accounting Team:

• Assist the director to track daily work expense
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements
• Monitoring & maintenance of accounts receivable, accounts payable

5. Temporary coordinating group:

• Provide support and service for one of events or programs at LCA
